Foreign Minister Takes Part In Foreign Ministerial Meeting On Syria


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Amman, May 01, 2023, SPA -- Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part today in the meeting of the Foreign Ministerial meeting on Syria, in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Amman Consultative Meeting kicked off today among the foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of Iraq, and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Discussions and views regarding efforts to find a Political solution to the Syrian crisis that would put an end to all of its repercussions, preserve Syria's unity, security, and stability, and maintain its Arab identity were shared during the meeting. This allowed Syria to return to its Arab surroundings while also benefiting its brotherly people.
The ministers stressed the importance of resolving the humanitarian crisis, providing an appropriate environment for aid to reach all regions in Syria, creating the necessary conditions for the return of Syrian refugees and displaced to their areas, ending their suffering, enabling them to return safely to their homeland, and taking further measures that would contribute to stabilizing the situation in the entire Syrian territory.
After that, memorial photos were taken for the heads of the delegations of the countries participating in the Amman Consultative Meeting.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the meeting included Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Al-Sudairi, and Director-General of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Office Abdulrahman AlDawood.
