Doha: Under the patronage of CEO H E Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani Al Thani, Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) organised its 'Annual Ghabga' yesterday.
The event was attended by QMC employees and prominent personalities from various fields, including government institutions, media and academics, in a festive Ramadan atmosphere.
The CEO of QMC, Sheikh Abdulaziz, said that the Ramadan Ghabga is an excellent opportunity to communicate, get to know each other and exchange experiences and knowledge.
He thanked all the employees for making the Ramadan programme successful for the TV and radio channels and the various media platforms affiliated with the Corporation.
The CEO praised the success and exceptional viewership achieved by Ramadan programmes, serials and special coverage by channels and radios this year during the first half of the holy month of Ramadan.
He stressed that the programme plan this year came to meet the needs of viewers and provide them with targeted and varied media content.
“We were honoured by the presence of a group of prominent and successful personalities in various fields, including government, academic, cultural, social and media in the country on this night. We thank them for their valuable time and eagerness to participate with us in this annual gathering,” Sheikh Abdulaziz said.
The Ghabga activities included highlights from Ramadan programmes prepared by Qatar TV, Alkass TV and Qatar Radio.
