Russians Attack Border Areas In Sumy Region Seven Times Today


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian troops attacked four border communities in Sumy region on Saturday.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The invaders dropped nine mines on the territory of the Myropillia community.

The Bilopillia community also came under enemy mortar fire - 20 hits were recorded. The Russians shelled its territory from AGS automatic grenade launchers, firing the same number of rounds. The invaders also dropped two more VOG grenades from drones on the territory of the community.

The Khotin community came under a mortar attack - three hits were recorded.

The invaders fired 25 rounds from AGS automatic grenade launchers at the Velyka Pysarivka community.

In all cases, according to the regional administration, there were no casualties or destruction.

"According to reports from the military, the operational situation in border Sumy region is currently under control. The formation of hostile offensive groups near the state border has not been detected," the regional administration added.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian shelled Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Seredyno-Buda, Nova Sloboda and Esman communities in Sumy region on April 7. The invaders launched an airstrike on the outskirts of Seredyna-Buda, damaging a household.
