GCC Secretary-General Holds Meetings with Envoys of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, and Sweden in Riyadh

(MENAFN) On Sunday, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Albudaiwi, held a series of meetings with foreign envoys in Riyadh. Albudaiwi met with Muhamed Jusic, the Bosnia and Herzegovina envoy to Saudi Arabia, to discuss bilateral relations and regional and international issues. During the meeting, Albudaiwi emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in areas of common interest and highlighted the GCC's commitment to maintaining security and stability in the Balkans through adherence to UN resolutions and peace treaties.
Albudaiwi also held a separate meeting with the Dutch ambassador to the Kingdom, Janet Alberda, where he emphasized the need to further strengthen relations between the Netherlands and Gulf nations. He also highlighted the strategic partnership between the GCC and the European Union (EU). In another meeting, Albudaiwi discussed regional and international matters with the Swedish ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Petra Menander. They also discussed cooperation priorities in various fields through the 2022 to 2027 joint work program with the EU.
Abdulaziz Aluwaisheg, the GCC's assistant secretary-general for political affairs and negotiations, attended all the meetings with the foreign envoys. The discussions were part of the GCC's efforts to enhance cooperation and partnership with countries around the world. The meetings also reflect the GCC's commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
