Raisi takes trip Khoy to check on victims of last week's earthquake


(MENAFN) Leader Ebrahim Raisi took a trip Khoy on Sunday to take an update on the condition after last week's earthquake.

Raisi stated that the citizens of Khoy in the northwestern district of West Azarbaijan that his government is going to make every attempt to solve their issues in the wake of the powerful earthquake.

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake hit around 80 villages in Khoy district on January 28. Which caused in the displace of thousands of people and hundreds of people were left injured.

The leader gave those residing in unpremeditated tents pledges that his administration is going to make every attempt to decline their sorrows in the cold of winter.

Raisi called on the citizens to stay careful and not let reports worry them as he highlights the important to mobilize resources to grant support for the quake victims.
