Amman, Jan. 25 (Petra) -- Jordan is slated to host the 8th edition of the Arab Media Forum next Saturday, which is organized by the Arab League's media and communication sector in partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Government Communication and the Arab Organization for Satellite Broadcasting.
The 4-day forum will be held in Amman, featuring several activities on sustainable development, media and information education, dangers of video games, and the Arab Electronic Media Committee's 18th meeting.
In an Arab League statement, its Assistant Secretary-General Ahmed Khattabi on Wednesday said the forum's program comprises meetings on various media-related topics in the region and a workshop on Jordan's experience in media and information education.
For his part, President of the Arab Organization for Satellite Broadcasting Mohammad Adaileh said hosting the forum in Jordan is a recognition of its efforts in boosting Arab joint work in media.
