NEOM chief executive confirms completion of 20 percent building works


(MENAFN) Around 20 percent of infrastructure operations at NEOM, Saudi Arabia’s USD500 billion megacity, have been finalized, as said by a leading official.

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, NEOM’s chief executive, asserted that operations are working in the futuristic city as per schedule in a meeting with Al Arabiya TV.

The plan is prepared to run on 100 percent renewable energy when finished, and is going to include many megaprojects.

To highlight the operations, NEOM issued a video previously this week which demonstrates the quick growth being established on the venture.

The video contains real-world footage of the big-scale establishment through NEOM areas which involves The Line, Trojena, OXAGON, as well as the luxury island improvement venture Sindalah.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman started the Sindalah Island project, which is going to expand across an area of nearly 840,000 sq. m and the island is going to perform as a major gateway to the Red Sea for vistors from the start of next year.
