(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- The price of OPEC basket of thirteen crudes rose by USD 1.32 to USD 84.62 per barrel on Wednesday, from the level of the previous day.
In its daily bulletin on Thursday, OPEC Secretariat noted that the average basket price in 2022 topped USD 100.08 pb.
The ministerial meeting of OPEC+ alliance decided on October 5, 2022, to reduce oil production by two million barrels a day as from last November in a bid to boost the prices.
OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basrah Medium (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
