MENA ministers hold meeting to indorse responsible mining


(MENAFN) A meeting of ministers prepared to start the Future Minerals Forum has been labelled as the “largest-ever gathering of its kind” by event arrangers as additional details of the event’s agenda were issued.

The ministerial meeting is going to study the methods in which worldwide cooperation can be grown to release the mining possible of the area, and also concentrate on actions that can be taken to turn the Middle East and North Africa area into a future center of “green metals.”

Spokesperson from over 60 high-level administration delegations as well as non-governmental organizations included in the mining industry are going to take part in the meeting on the 10th of January, before the Forum proper gets ongoing the next day at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh.

Setting out details of the event at a press meeting hosted in Riyadh on Wednesday, the directors stated that “This makes it the largest-ever gathering of its kind.”
