Iranian Leader says constitution guarantees republic, Islamic aspects of the system


(MENAFN) Iranian Leader Ebrahim Raisi has stressed the need for forcing the constitution, stating it guarantees the republic and Islamic aspects of the Iranian organization.

Talking on Saturday morning at the national session of "Responsibility for the Implementation of the Constitution," Ayatollah Raisi called the constitution as the national agreement and the embodiment of the magnificent Islamic Revolution, which assurances the republic and Islamic aspects of the system, constitutional rights and legitimate freedoms.

Saying that the constitution comprises both the rights of individual residents and the duties of officials, he added, "The fact that intellectuals and experts evaluate the quality of the implementation of the principles of the constitution not only in academic and scientific circles, but also to examine and monitor the social fields, it will be very informative and useful."
