Egypt wins 2-1 against Belgium in pre-World Cup game


(MENAFN) In a pre-World Cup friendly encounter on Friday night, Egypt shocked Belgium 2-1.

In Kuwait City's 33rd minute, forward Mostafa Mohamed of Egypt gave his club the lead.

After a deft long pass from the African team's star Mohamed Salah, another forward from Egypt, Trezeguet, extended the deficit in the 46th minute.

Lois Openda of Belgium scored from close range in the 76th minute, but this was only a consolation for the Red Devils.

2-1 victory for the Pharaohs in Kuwait City.

Romelu Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois, and Kevin De Bruyne are just a few of Belgium's many stars.

Egypt is not going to participate in the upcoming FIFA World Cup which is going to start in Qatar on Sunday.

Belgium, the 2018 World Cup who got the 3rd place, is going to play against Canada in their initial Group F match in Qatar 2022 on 23rd of November.
