Palestinian Prisoners On Hunger Strike Increase To 50 - PPC


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Oct 9 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Prisoners Club (PPC) announced an increase in the number of Palestinian prisoners who went on hunger strike at the Israeli prisons to reach 50 in rejection of administrative imprisonment.
The rising number of Palestinian prisoners who went on hunger strike came after 20 new Palestinian prisoners joined the open hunger strike, including administrative detainees, arrested and sentenced comes in support of the striking prisoners, PPC added in a press statement Sunday.
A total of 30 Palestinian prisoners commenced their hunger strike in 15 days in rejection of the administrative arresting policy, especially since the Israeli authorities did not accuse them of any charges and continued to boycott the occupation courts of various degrees. (end)
