Top Turkish delegation reaches Libya for official trip


(MENAFN) A high-level Turkish delegation went to the Libyan capital Tripoli on Monday for an official trip.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez, Trade Minister Mehmet Mus, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and high-level spokesperson Ibrahim Kalin went to Libya for discussions on many problems.

The Turkish officials might assemble with their fellows, in addition to Mohamed al-Menfi, chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council; Abdullah al-Lafi and Musa al-Koni, deputy leaders of Libya’s Presidential Council; Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, leader of the Tripoli-based unity administration, and Khalid al-Mishri, chief of Libya’s High Council of State.

Throughout the trip, the officials will talk over bilateral ties and cooperation as part of 2019 contracts on security and military collaboration and on the limitation of maritime power in the Mediterranean.
