(MENAFN) FIFA Leader Gianni Infantino greeted football supporters from across the world to Qatar to join the FIFA World Cup 2022 which is going to be happening from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18.
In broadcasted announcement from New York yesterday on the offshoots of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Infantino stated that the World Cup in Qatar is going to be the greatest in history due to the Qatari great work in preparation for the prestigious tournament, the impression of holding it in the Arab area, and Qatar’s willingness to greet the world.
He expressed that: “As FIFA President, I delegate myself to welcome all the peoples of the globe who will come to Qatar... I welcome the world that will be united during the month of the World Cup. The Qataris are preparing for a unique event in hosting more than two million athletes who will watch the tournament matches from inside the stadiums, and five billion who will watch the event from all over the world, and it will be amazing.”
