FM Takes Part At Ministerial Meeting In New York

Amman, Sept. 23 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Friday, took part at a ministerial meeting, upon an invitation from U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The Foreign ministry, in a statement, said that the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, included the foreign ministers of the Gulf States, Egypt, Iraq and Yemen.
The top diplomats participating in the meeting emphasized the strategic ties and ways to enhance partnership and build on the outcomes of the Jeddah Security and Development Summit held last July, and work to promote peace, security, stability and economic prosperity in the Middle East region, and to confront regional and global challenges, including food, climate and humanitarian crises.
