Action Plan Helps Maintain Good Hygiene At Lusail Stadium

Doha: The Ministry of Municipality, represented by General Cleanliness Department, made extensive efforts to maintain good hygiene at Lusail Stadium, which hosted the Super Cup match between Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal and Egypt's Zamalek on Friday.

Several teams comprising 120 workers, 14 observers, 20 vehicles and specialised cleaning machines, participated in the cleaning operations of Lusail Stadium early on the morning of the match.

As many as 508 containers of different sizes were provided, and all waste was cleaned and removed in the areas surrounding the stadium.

After the match ended, the department made intensive efforts to clean the Lusail Stadium area by removing about 41 tonnes of miscellaneous waste, in addition to about 2.5 tonnes of recyclable waste from the waste sorting containers in the stadium.
