Fourteen Ukrainian Defenders Released From Russian Captivity


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Fourteen Ukrainian defenders were released within another prisoner swap with Russia.

According to Ukrinform, the Coordination Headquarters for treatment of Prisoners of War reported this on Telegram.

'As part of the work of the Coordination Headquarters for Treatment of Prisoners of War in Donetsk region, another exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia took place today. 14 Ukrainian defenders returned home,' the report reads.

According to the headquarters, among those freed are ten service members of the 58th separate mechanized brigade and four from the 30th separate mechanized brigade. They were captured by Russian invaders in the spring of this year.

It is also noted that an officer and a military medic are among those released.

Work on the return of prisoners continues.
