ICBF Organises Medical, Consular Camps

Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) celebrated Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav - 75 years of Indian Independence with a medical and consular camp for industrial workers in Qatar. ICBF, with the support of Wellkins Medical Centre, Federation of Indian Nurses in Qatar (Finq) and QLife Pharma held the medical camp and a special consular camp for low wage workers at Asian Town recreation hall recently.
Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal inaugurated the camps in the presence of Indian embassy first secretary (culture and education) Sachin Dinkar Shankpal, Dr Mohan Thomas (president- Indian Sports Centre), P N Baburajan (president, Indian Cultural Centre), Dr Sameer Moopan (chairman & MD- Wellkins Medical Centre).
The camp was organised to provide quality medical assistance to Indian industrial workers, and to monitor their healthcare along with consular services including passport and attestation services. Hundreds of workers from various sectors in Qatar were the beneficiaries.
