Rixos Hotels Appoints Sherif Kasseb As GM Of Doha's 'First All-Inclusive Lifestyle Hotel'

Doha: Rixos Hotels has appointed Sherif Kasseb (pictured) as General Manager of Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, Doha's most iconic hotel. Kasseb brings 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry as General Manager.

Having amassed wide-ranging high-level hotel management experience across the Middle East as a goal-driven leader, Kasseb was responsible for creating the Rixos Hotels Academy for developing future leaders. He has variously been called upon to organise Heads of State visits and handle significant major global conferences and summits.

In terms of landmark accomplishments in his career, Kasseb has overseen five hotel openings for top brands, been awarded The President Award in 2004, and been a certified Operations Innovation (OI) Green belt since 2005, one of the most demanding certifications in the corporate world and became the Regional Master Trainer for Starwood hotel's CRM platform for the Middle East.

His pre-opening expertise will stand him in good stead at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha where as General Manager he will manage 600 staff to orchestrate the grand opening. The hotel now boasts a magnificent beach front with three pools, 13 private cabanas, a kids Club, an exclusive Sports Club and the Turkish-inspired Anjana Spa. The exceptional hotel accommodation includes an outstanding range of 378 luxury rooms and suites. Seven eateries and restaurants will cater to every taste and two ballrooms and further meeting rooms will meet every need to celebrate, convene and plan noteworthy events.

Kasseb has a degree in Hotel Management from Helwan University in Cairo.

Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, which is set to open in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, is a key milestone for Doha as it is expected to be the first 5-star all-inclusive hotel in Doha and reiterates the brand's commitment to creating a new world of possibilities through an elevated 360° experience for guests.
