
PM Meets Georgian Counterpart
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani met on Tuesday with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on the sidelines of the Qatar Economic Forum, powered by Bloomberg, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international situations of common interest. After the meeting, HE the PM and the Georgian PM witnessed the signing of an agreement on encouraging and protecting mutual investments, and an agreement on economic, commercial and technical co-operation between the two countries. The two agreements were signed by HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al-Abdullah al-Thani and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili.
