Doha: InterContinental Doha The City is celebrating its 10th anniversary of warmly welcoming and taking great care of all its guests, in the heart of Doha.
“The 10th anniversary celebration marks an exciting milestone in the history of our hotel and Qatar's tourism sector; in honour of this we are delighted to announce a series of specials events taking place in the few months including an art competition to support local artists community,” said Anne Busfield, General Manager of InterContinental Doha The City.
InterContinental Doha The City's journey started in 2012, as one of the tallest hotel tower projects to open in Qatar and the 29th tallest hotel tower in the world.
Since its opening, the hotel has been creating unique and special experiences and events for all its guests.
As part of the hotel's commitment to continuously enhancing guest experiences it recently opened up Lamara Spa on the 46th floor, featuring breathtaking West Bay views and sensory elements to nurture its guests' mind and body.
“Lamara Spa offers a holistic approach to wellbeing, with our acclaimed treatments, and a team of professionals to who create your sensory spa experience with our range of European Skincare Brand and Arabic Traditional Hammam Treatments” said Danijela, the Lamara Spa Manager.
The hotel has been recognised with many World Travel and Luxury Awards due to the incredible hotel team who created truly memorable stays, experiences and events for thousands of guests locally, regionally and globally.
One of the opening team members and well known personalities at InterContinental Doha The City is Erika, who manages the renowned La Parisienne. A traditional Parisian Salon de Thé, Patisserie, and Boulangerie, offering guests a quintessential French experience.

InterContinental Doha The City is celebrating the 10th anniversary with a series of events that hotel guests and residents can look forward to over the next few months.
The celebrations begin with an enhanced arrival experience with the beautification of the driveway and the re-opening of an exciting new multi-dimensional dining concept in The Square, featuring a range of experiences including The Asian Kitchen and a fantastic Food Market Hall.
