Johnson, Zelensky Want To Step Up Work To Define Longer-Term Security Architecture For Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in a phone call on Thursday agreed to step up work with allies to define the longer-term security architecture for Ukraine.
That's according to the office of the UK Prime Minister, Ukrinform reports.
'The leaders discussed progress in negotiations and agreed to step up work with allies, including the US, France and Germany, to define the longer-term security architecture for Ukraine,' the statement said.
During the call, Zelensky updated on the situation in the Donbas and the ongoing fight to regain all of Ukraine's sovereign territory and counter Russian disinformation in contested areas.
The Prime Minister stressed his undimmed admiration for the brave defenders of Mariupol and urged Russia to treat any prisoners of war with dignity and respect.
Johnson today announced an additional package of military aid to Ukraine worth GBP 1.3 billion. As part of this aid package, Kyiv will receive long-range artillery, shore-to-ship missiles and drones.
