President Of Turkmenistan Instructs To Reduce Import Of Food Products

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. President of
Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to reduce the import
of food products, Trend reports citing Turkmenportal.
He stated this during a meeting of the government of
Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the President stated that over the past 4
months, despite the previously given instructions, the volume of
some imported food products has increased.
'In this regard, it is necessary to strengthen the work on
increasing the output of domestic consumer goods and reducing the
volume of imports of products, in particular, food, which can be
manufactured in our country,' Berdimuhamedov said.
The President stressed the need to take measures in this
direction, and also addressed a number of relevant instructions to
Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylydzhov.
