Turkish Ministry Unveils Volume Of Country's Foreign Trade Turnover In March 2022 (Exclusive)

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 4. Turkey's foreign trade
turnover amounted to $53.5 billion in March 2022, Turkish Trade
Ministry told TurkicWorld online news portal, Trend reports.
At the same time, Turkey's exports increased by 19.8 percent in
March 2022 compared to March 2021, to $22.7 billion. Turkish
imports grew by 30.7 percent and amounted to $30.8 billion.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $146.8 billion from
January through March 2022.
“Turkey's exports grew by 20.6 percent in 1Q2022 compared to the
same period in 2021, to $60.2 billion,' the ministry said.
According to ministry, Turkey's imports increased by 42 percent
during this period compared to 1Q2021 - up to $86.6 billion.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $496.7 billion
dollars in 2021.
Turkey's exports grew by 32.8 percent at the end of 2021
compared to 2020 - up to $225.291 billion.
Turkey's imports grew by 23.6 percent last year compared to
2020, to $271.4 billion.
Turkey's foreign trade turnover amounted to $388.8 billion in
2020.
