Dubai, UAE: Festival Plaza, part of Al-Futtaim Malls, is set to launch the first ever mall-led supper club on occasion of Dubai Food Festival in celebration of good food with a good cause. Adding to its calendar – which includes the successful Book Club – the Festival Plaza Supper Club will occur once every quarter.

Hosted by DJ and radio presenter Jade Worsley, the Festival Plaza Supper Club' s first edition is set to take place on May 12 at 6pm on the mall's first level. Special guest Madame Vo from the Chinese-themed supper club, Haus of Vo, will be sharing stories on her passion for creating exquisite meals and of her culinary adventures. The evening will feature a specially curated menu by the talented chefs Rahmat Hidayat and Munish Rana from the Asian restaurant, Ming's Chamber.

The dining experience will commence with an appetiser platter comprising a variety of sushi rolls, crispy prawns, assorted vegetables and more. Followed by a choice of fish ball and tofu or Chikuwa soup, guests will then enjoy a nasi goreng main course, and satisfy their sweet tooth with Hong Kong-style pancakes or vanilla crepes for dessert. To complement the meal, foodies can sip on a refreshing iced Jasmine tea.

With event partner ACE Hardware's beautiful, high-quality dinnerware, cutlery, seating, and décor, the Festival Plaza Supper Club will seat 30 guests. Patrons are welcome to pay as they feel with 100% of the proceeds to be donated to UNICEF to provide clean water and food to vulnerable families.

Genevieve Colaco, Regional General Manager, Marketing & Customer Experience at Al-Futtaim Malls said: “As part of Al-Futtaim Malls' commitment to bringing visitors exceptional experiences, we have drawn inspiration from Dubai's culinary talent, rising food trends and magnificent food gems to curate this new supper club that sits well with our brand of all things CommYouNity. Our guests can look forward to exclusive dining experiences where they not only get to taste delectable dishes but also have the opportunity to interact with brilliant chefs and speak to other foodies with similar passions.”
