Doha: President of the Civil Service and government Development Bureau, Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, said that the vision of the bureau is to build a competitive public sector with high-quality services, and this will be done by empowering human capital to provide sustainable competitive services and innovative government development.
In an interview on Qatar TV, he also pointed out that to encourage young Qatari youth to marry, the marriage advance has been increased from QR100,000 Qatari to a maximum of QR300,000 with new regulations that ensure that the beneficiaries are not burdened.
“In the State of Qatar, we always strive to develop public systems to achieve the common good, and to change the principle of grants into a performance reward that motivates employees to perform,” Al Khalifa noted.
He also said that the public job is an honor, a duty and a responsibility that requires commitment to performance within a specified time frame, with complete integrity and accuracy in implementation.
The leave grant in the civil sector will be converted in the future into a performance evaluation reward within the performance evaluation management system, he affirmed, noting that the grants and allowances that had been suspended until the negative economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been reinstated.
For his part, Abdullah Al-Dosari, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Development Affairs at the Civil Service and Governmental Development Bureau said after overcoming the negative economic impact of the Corona pandemic, the grant or its equivalent other benefits will be re-disbursed.
