Petroleum Prices Increased: Petrol And Diesel Rates Hiked


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) The federal government has announced a hike in petroleum prices for the next 15 days , raising petrol prices by Rs 1 per liter , setting the new price at Rs 257.13 per liter .

Meanwhile, high-speed diesel (HSD) has seen a significant increase of Rs 7 per liter , bringing the new price to Rs 267.95 per liter .

The Ministry of Finance has also issued a notification confirming the new petroleum rates.

LPG Prices Also Increased

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has also increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) .

According to the notification , the price of a domestic LPG cylinder has been raised by Rs 43.52 , with a per kilogram increase of Rs 3.68 .

With this revision, the price of an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder now stands at Rs 2,996.88 , while the per kg price is set at Rs 253.97 .

The new LPG rates have been determined for February 2025 .
