Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Meets with Deputy Head of Religious Administration for Muslims of Russia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Cairo, February 15, 2022, SPA -- Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh in Cairo has met with Deputy Head of Religious Administration for Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan Abassoof on the sidelines of his official visit to Egypt to participate in 13th session of the Executive Council of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed several issues of mutual interest in the Islamic field and issues that can serve Islamic action according to the moderation approach.
Abassoof referred to the big efforts of the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, in serving Islam and the entire humanity, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a pioneer in the Islamic world and its efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques are appreciated by all Muslims of the world.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Dr. Al-Sheikh offered Abassoof a prestigious copy of the Holy Quran from the publications of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran.
