Jordan - Crown Prince meets Kuwait Red Crescent Society chairman

Amman, Feb. 6 (Petra)-- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with Kuwait Red Crescent Society Chairman Hilal Al Sayer on Sunday.
During the meeting, Crown Prince Al Hussein reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Kuwait, commending the humanitarian services provided by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to refugees.
For his part, Chairman Sayer gave a brief about the society's activities in Jordan and its efforts to help refugees, the latest of which was the launch of a medical programme to perform surgeries for Syrian refugees, in cooperation with a Kuwaiti medical team and the Jordan National Red Crescent Society.
Jordan National Red Crescent Society President Mohammad Al Hadid, Kuwait Red Crescent Society Secretary General Maha Al Barjas, and Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan Aziz Al Daihani attended the meeting.
