Azerbaijan records growth in nominal GDP

Azerbaijan's nominal GDP grew in 2021, the Azerbaijan's Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on Twitter, Trend reports.

According to Jabbarov, this figure reached 93 billion manat ($54.7 billion), which is 11 billion manat ($6.4 billion) more than in 2019.

Although the country's GDP decreased in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year this indicator not only recovered compared to 2019 but also increased, added the minister.
