(MENAFN) On the words of the Turkish government spokesperson, the reason of Turkish Cypriots and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is as well the national reason of Turkey.
Mustafa Sentop announced following welcoming Turkish Cypriot politicians and Premier Faiz Sucuoglu at Turkish government in Ankara "Everyone in Turkey agrees on the TRNC. We always support and will continue to support the TRNC under all circumstances."
Sentop also said "Undoubtedly, this is not just an issue of sentiment. The cause of the TRNC is our national cause," and emphasized that the Turkish Cypriot cause is based on right legal, political and historical basics.
