(MENAFN) France detained one of the Saudi Arabian suspects over the assassination of reporter Jamal Khashoggi at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
Local media announced while referring to the judicial sources, Khaled Aedh Al-Otaibi, who is 33 years old, was arrested by frontier police when he was going in a flight to Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh.
Khashoggi was violently killed and likely dismembered when he was lured by Saudi officials to their embassy in Istanbul in October 2018.
Riyadh at first rejected any role in his murder then pin responsibility on what it stated was a failed rendition process.
