Qatar - UDC opens new 'Point of Use' facilities at The Pearl Island

United Development Company (UDC), a leading Qatari public shareholding company and the master developer of The Pearl and Gewan Islands, announced the completion of two new 'Point of Use' facilities in Qanat Quartier to ensure the comfort of workers who are involved in developmental and maintenance projects at The Pearl Island.





The new facilities have been delivered in addition to the nine existing 'Points of Use' facilities located throughout The Pearl Island, which have all been designed and built to the highest standards, to enhance the quality of life of workers. These facilities include a kitchen, common lounge and dining area, as well as toilets and showers. They are fully air-conditioned and open to free use for any worker or contractor working on the Island.

UDC is committed to pioneering social welfare and development initiatives, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which aims to improve the overall wellbeing of the community at large.
