Saudi Aramco to cooperate with French firms on hydrogen vehicles


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Dec. 4 Saudi Aramco inked five deals with pioneering French firms containing a deal to discuss a hydrogen-powered car projects with Gaussin, reported a declaration.

The inking happened at an event in Jeddah, led by the Ministry of Investment to discover new chances for investing with French firms in the Saudi Kingdom.

“It represents an opportunity to promote hydrogen as a low-carbon solution, not just for motorsport, but eventually for mass transportation as well. Such collaboration helps us to advance economic growth in the Kingdom as part of the Namaat industrial investment program and takes us a step closer to our shared vision of a more sustainable future,” mentioned Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser while giving remarks on the agreement with Guassin.
