IUMS rejects unity with Israel

(MENAFN) On Saturday, Nov. 27 the International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) reported, it condemned agreements among Israel and Arab nations calling them “forbidden.”

The IUMS mentioned in an update, “The Union affirms that what some countries, such as the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Morocco, have committed to indulging in alliances and practical steps with the occupying Zionist entity is a condemned and forbidden act.”

In the past week, Morocco inked a defense deal with Israel in a trip from the Defense Minister of Israel Benny Gantz to the North African nation.

The Israeli defense minister and Abdellatif Loudiyi met eye to eye to military collaboration and inked a “pioneering defense memorandum of understanding” in addition to Morocco’s acquisition of drones from Israel and "advanced weapons" structures.
