Deb Batterham is a Post-doctoral research fellow at Swinburne University of Technology in the Centre for Urban Transitions and also a Researcher at Launch Housing - a Specialist Homelessness Service provider in Melbourne. She has 19 years experience working as a researcher investigating homelessness.Her work has included research projects on the geography of homelessness, the structural drivers of homelessness, applying the capabilities approach to homelessness, risk of homelessness, mobility as well as evaluations of various programs and submissions. Her recently completed PhD thesis examines the relationship between Homelessness and private rental markets in Australia.
