Riyadh, Nov. 20, 2021, SPA -- In its daily weather forecast for today, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) described the situation of the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as moderate to torrential thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind on Jazan, Asir and Baha regions, extending to Makkah heights, as well as Jawf, Northern Border, Hail and Qassim regions, along with northern parts of Eastern region, as thunderstorms, accompanied by active wind will be also seen on some parts of Tabuk, Madinah and Riyadh regions and dusty winds be active on some parts of Riyadh, Qassim and Eastern regions.
The report stated that surface wind movement along the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly on northern and central parts at a speed of 22-44 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly on southern part at a speed of 14-36 km/h, while surface wind movement on the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly at a speed of 14-40 km/h.
