(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Oct. 27 central bank figures revealed that sentiment amongst South Korean consumers over economic conditions picked up for two consecutive months during October amidst a higher inoculation rate for coronavirus.
The Bank of Korea (BOK) said that the composite consumer sentiment index (CCSI) added three points during the month to 106.8 during October, after surging 1.3 points in the previous month.
It came as South Korea’s full immunization rate surpassed 70 percent of the population, set by the administration as a major precondition to relax antivirus restrictions.
The administration planned to steadily allow people to go back to normal life from the pandemic during November.
