Maritime rescuers save 9 lives from drowning -- KFF


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 8 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) said its boats and the maritime rescuers managed to rescue nine swimmers from drowning off Al-Beda'e shores on Friday.
Two of the rescued people are in critical condition and a tenth person is still missing, according to a KFF statement.
Acting on notification that the ten persons went missing, the KFF and maritime rescuers rushed to the scene and managed to rescue nine of them.
The two rescued persons who are in critical condition were rushed to hospital while the search and rescue operation continues to account for the last one, the statement added. (end)
