Income of China’s SOEs rise 75 pct in 1st 8 months


(MENAFN) On Friday, Sep. 24 official figures demonstrated that the combined income of the Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) soared 75 percent year over year to more than 3.12 trillion yuan (around USD483 billion) in the January-August period of 2021.

The Ministry of Finance stated that in the first eight months, the SOEs witnessed their operating proceeds surge 24.9 percent year over year to over USD7,32 trillion.

The centrally-administered SOEs witnessed their income soar 72.9 percent year over year to USD321 billion in the cited period.

The proceeds of centrally-administered SOEs climbed 23.3 percent year over year hitting about USD4,11 trillion.
