Ukrainian president’s assistant survives after try to be murdered


(MENAFN) The Ukrainian Interior Ministry announced that a top assistant of the Ukrainian head Volodymyr Zelenskiy stayed alive following a kill try early Wednesday.

The Ukrainian Interior Ministry added that more than 10 shots hit Serhiy Shefir’s car, who is an old friend of Zelenskiy, close to the village of Lisnyky outside the capital, Kyiv.

The National Police of Ukraine leader, Ihor Klymenko, informed media "Fortunately, the president's first aide was left unharmed. We can say that the intentions of the criminals were quite serious."

The car driver car is injured and sent to the hospital.
