Saudi Arabia Supports Sustainable Development in Developing Countries of the World


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Sep. 22, 2021, SPA -- Since its inception, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been supporting sustainable development in various developing countries in world.
Through Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Saudi Arabia provides many loans to finance development projects that contribute to achieving more prosperous future for developing and needy societies.
Since its establishment in 1975 until mid-2021, SFD contributed to financing 694 projects and development programs with a total amount of 69 billion Saudi riyals to support 84 developing countries in many vital sectors, including Social services, infrastructure, transportation, communications, energy, agriculture and mining.
Such unprecedented contributions made Saudi Arabia among the top donor countries in supporting humanitarian and development aid in the world.
