(MENAFN) On Friday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,438.72 points, decreased 0.96 percent from the last close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 13.95 points from Thursday's end of 1,452.67 points, after opening the day at 1,455.46 points.
The index's lowest rate in the day stood at 1,437.62 points, as its daily high amounted at 1,457.10 points.
With a daily trading rate of around 10.9 billion Turkish liras (USD1.3 billion), the total market rate of the BIST 100 stood at almost 1.09 trillion Turkish liras (USD128.6 billion) by market close.
The stocks on the index increased, 75 dropped, and three remained unchanged in comparison to Thursday's close.
