U.S. Company bought Sweaty Betty in a 417,9m agreement

(MENAFN) A U.S.-based Wolverine Worldwide company had bought the sportswear brand Sweaty Betty for about USD417,9 million.

Established in London's Notting Hill in 1998, the firm grew quickly on the back of the popularity of supposed athleisure fashion.
Recognized for its figure-hugging leggings, Sweaty Betty clothing campany has been getting celebrities’ attention, counting Jennifer Anniston and Halle Berry.

Chief manager Julia Straus will remain at the company after the 417,9 million transaction.

Wolverine Worldwide is famous for selling footwear, but expects to capitalise on the expansion in demand for sportswear that increased throughout the coronavirus.
