Ukraine, Uzbekistan identify promising cooperation areas


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine and Uzbekistan identified aviation industry, creation of livestock complexes, and silk production in Ukraine as promising cooperation areas.

“Ukraine is interested in attracting investment and therefore is actively implementing new legislative initiatives. We see a great demand from investors for industrial parks and a new mechanism to support investors in attracting investment, the so-called law on 'investment nannies’,” the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported following a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Iryna Novikova and founder of the Welfare Investment Alliance consulting company, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ukraine (2012-2019) Alisher Abdualiyev.

The aviation industry, as well as the implementation of projects to create livestock complexes and silk production in Ukraine, were identified as the promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

The deputy economy minister expressed hope for further strengthening of relations and stressed that creating comfortable conditions for doing business and implementing new investment projects was an extremely important step to intensify investment cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects and possibilities of creating simplified access to the markets of the countries, a favorable environment for the implementation of joint projects and investment attraction.
