(MENAFN)At a new-product launch event, Huawei’s company stated that the customers of HarmonyOS 2, which is the operating system for the smartphones of Chinese telecom giant Huawei, have surpassed 40 million.
On June 2, Huawei officially inaugurated HarmonyOS 2, later; an average of eight users a second has developed their devices to the operating system.
Moreover, HarmonyOS, or Hongmeng in Chinese, was first opened in August 2019 and is an open-source operating system intended for many devices and scenarios.
By the end of the year, Huawei predicts the figure of devices equipped with HarmonyOS to amount to 300 million, with at least 200 million for Huawei devices.
