Manama, July 31, 2021, SPA -- The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly denounced the hostile attempt by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia to attack a Saudi commercial ship by using a (booby-trapped) drone.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed Friday that these repeated hostilities reflect the clear determination of the Houthi terrorists to continue their vicious attacks on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and destabilize security and stability in the region.
It praised the efficiency of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen, which managed to thwart the attack.
It also stressed the need for the international community to take deterrent measures against these repeated violations, which violate all international laws, and aim to impede maritime traffic in the region and freedom of global trade.
