(MENAFN)The Civil Aviation Administration of China stated on Friday, May 14, that China's local air passenger trips hit 51.09 million in April, increasing 205.5 percent from a year earlier.
The number put a new monthly record since the beginning of last year, representing 96.2 percent of the level seen in the same period in 2019.
The load and mail transportation volume was about 655,000 tons in April, as it augmented 35 percent over the same period in 2020.
The total transportation income was 9.21 billion tonne-kilometers, as it increased 132.8 percent year on year, or about 87.7 percent of the level witnessed in April of 2019.
