Eritrean leader pays two-day visit to Sudan’s capital


(MENAFN) Sudan's Sovereign Council announced in a statement that Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki reached in Sudan's capital Khartoum on Tuesday for a two-day visit to the state.


As per the statement, Chairman of Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, a number of Sudanese ministers and diplomats from the Eritrean Embassy in Sudan welcomed Afwerki upon his arrival at Khartoum airport.


Afwerki will meet with Al-Burhan on improving collaboration between the two nations and increasing two-sided relations, in addition to subjects of mutual interest.


The Eritrean president is accompanied by Foreign Minister Osman Saleh and Presidential Adviser Yemane Gebreab.
