Somalia: Mortar assault leaves 4 dead
(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Apr. 21 a mortar assault in Somalia's capital Mogadishu left four people as a minimum dead and several others wounded.
Al-Shabab militants launched mortar shells which settled in Bondhere and WartaNabada residential districts in the Banadir region, leaving the four people dead, stated the Somali National Army (SNA) radio.
The SNA radio said in a report: "several people sustained injuries during the attack."
Al-Qaida allied terrorist outfit al-Shabab assumed accountability for the recent assault, noting their fighters aimed at the Somali presidential palace.
